There was a Thai hit album released 1988. The album cover was notable. It was a piece of sushi shaped like an outline of the Kingdom of Thailand, being picked up by chop sticks. It was made by a group composed of men and women. The music had both elements of Thai traditional music and rock and roll. This album had some great songs on it. One song was called Rock n' Roll. The main hit from the album was about a boat that traveled to many places. I don't speak Thai but the words 'Thailand, Indo, and Laos' seem to occur. From what a person that translated told me it is about a boat traveling between different places In addition, The name of the Album was a (Thai) fruit. I wish I had more. Any ideas?

  • Was it LP, CD or cassette? Do you mean Thai hit songs, or foreign hit songs (British ?) released in Thailand? – Bebs Mar 10 at 7:54
