A song (a pop ballad?) recently popped into my head that I remember hearing as a child on the radio in 80s. (I'm not saying the song was released in 80s though.) It was in Slovenia, just a normal radio station, music from various countries. I don't remember much of it at all, only this bit (link to the Online Sequencer):

Give me love
Give me love
- - - - give me your love

It may be "Give me" or "Gimme", that I don't know. '-' indicates unknown syllable. Male singer.

  • @Brahadeesh is right, if you were listening to US Country Music radio in the 80's, I would have no idea - but if it was likely to be a popular chart hit from the 80's then I might know it. – Lefty Jun 17 at 20:33
  • @Brahadeesh Just normal music... Pop ballad? Not sure... – Heimdall Jun 18 at 16:41
  • @Lefty Definitely not US Country. Don't know how much of a hit it was. It was just music playing on radio in Slovenia where I come from, and I was just a child. It might even be a pre-80s song, I don't know. I just remember a few words and the melody of that bit. – Heimdall Jun 18 at 17:43
  • My first thought upon seeing your title was "Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)" by George Harrison, but that doesn't match the rest of your lyrics :-( – jrw32982 supports Monica Jun 18 at 19:22
  • @jrw32982supportsMonica Nor does it match the melody either... I have encountered it on my searches. Tried Google for lyrics, tried YouTube for different songs with this sort of title, but to no avail. – Heimdall Jun 18 at 21:36
