I would like to identify the music in background in this French ad from a company named GMF, could you help :D? Thanks!!

While the song PiedPiper mentions does have the same start, it doesn't appear to be completely correct. It's a great suggestion though, since I couldn't have found the actual source without it. Both the commercial and 'Learn to hope' used the same reference material:

Hans Zimmer - God Yu Tekkem Laef Blong Mi

It appears to be a Melanesian choir singing: The Choir Of All Saints from Honiara. Here's a longer version without the instruments:

  • Also almost correct. The commercial, "Learn to Hope" and the soundtrack for "The Thin Red Line" all use the same material: a Melanesian choral song performed by the Choir of All Saints from Honiara. It's very probably a traditional song and not by Hans Zimmer.

  • @PiedPiper It's definitely a traditional song. The text reads like it's either from a gospel or funeral song. The version I linked appears to have exactly the same instruments accompanying the choir as in the advertisement, so the sounds appears to be the correct source at least. It's quite possible Zimmer didn't have to much on it. I'm more familiar with his other works, not this line. For completeness I've added one without instruments as well, but that's not the one used in the advert. You can clearly here the difference at 00:20 of the advert.
