I don't have the music file and have no information about it, but I've heard it many times. It sounds like Western classical music: something like flute accompanied by string orchestra, I guess. I just tried to whistle a part of it on this audio file. Hope it's close enough and helps!

  • If you have heard it on TV and radio, then you could describe what musical instrument plays the theme, and what the accompaniment sounds like.     What kind of musical instrument does it SOUND like to you? A violin? A flute? A guitar? A xylophone? A piano? Come on, if you can't provide any details based on what you have heard, or if you are so ignorant of musical terms that you do not know the difference, I do not believe that we can help you. – user546 Mar 16 '16 at 18:43

Is it possibly Kriesler's "Sicilienne"? It's not a close match, but there are some distinct similarities in the rhythm and the overall melodic line.
