So I was listening to a "top 40" style radio station later in the evening and they were doing a sort of mix session (playing song remixes and such). The song that was on when I turned on the radio had repeated chorus lyrics that went something like:

"If I were you, I would wish I were me too"

and the last time the lyric was repeated there was a pause between the "me" and "too".

The song chorus sounded like it was from a lady with an (Asian perhaps?) accent. The other lyrics I can remember (non chorus) were about never having to buy drinks always getting in VIP to a club and thanking God/being grateful for her life (or body, a little fuzzy on that part).

Sorry if this is a bit vague, but I think the chorus is unique enough with the details provided, and I tried searching that lyric with no success so I am turning to you guys!

Looks like the newly released song "Me Too" by Meghan Trainor. :)

  • Yep, that's the one, not at all Asian or even foreign. Guess that's what happens when you listen to music late at night after a few beers. Thanks. – PawnInGameOfLife May 14 '16 at 22:18

@PawnInGameOfLife In your defense, she puts an odd emphasis on the words in the chorus. – Chris Sunami supports Monica May 16 '16 at 13:38
