I believe I saw this video a long time ago and it was pretty sure it was Interpol's Untitled. But I guess I am mixing few things up here.
I think the whole video was Black and White.
Can anyone please help me on this ?

I think your looking for this video who is indeed a music video for Interpol's song Untitled, and as Angst said, directed by Tom McPhee and Steve Parsons for a college project.
Video is in black and white.
A girl is hit by a car, and the whole clip is backwards.
The only video I have ever know to have a girl get hit by a car and plays backwards is "Easton Corbin - I Can't Love You Back" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rl1f0IBCTds
But sound wise I can not ever see it being confused with Interpol, which "Untitled" in fact is in black and white/Sepia and can be seen here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GixPQHAR8Ds
In the music video for What If by Jason Darulo (2010), a girl gets hit by a car and the hero revives some moments in backwards.
But not in black and white and not from the band Interpol.
Maps by Maroon 5 follows this format.
