When we were younger, my brother and I used to listen a band while in car with our parents. I just have a few unclear memories of the music.

I found this site: http://www.allmusic.com/advanced-search, but I can't narrow the results enough.

I also found a few methods like the ones described here http://www.allbutforgottenoldies.net/help/name-that-tune.html, but it has been useless I don't remember any words of the songs...

All I remember is the "genre" of the music, that is was a band (I think), with a male singer. I think it was some kind of electronic soft/pop rock, but I was a kid so my impressions back then could be very different from what I consider being electronic soft/pop rock today. We had two albums, burnt on CDs. I was between 8 and 13 years old, so their albums may have come out between 1999 and 2004.

God I found it!

Okay so I finally typed "electro soft rock 2000s" on Google and went on this page: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/rockandpopfeatures/6198897/100-songs-that-defined-the-Noughties.html

When I saw it, "The Killers", I knew it was it ;)

Took me 3 hours but I won.
