So just yesterday, a music video showed up randomly in my you-tube feed. It looked to be J-pop (or maybe K-pop?) and featured five time-traveling girls wearing cat ears. It was so over the top I first suspected it was a parody, but I think it was exactly what it seemed to be.

It was not in English, but it was subtitled. The chorus seemed to be about their desire to be featured in Meow magazine. The first historical figure they visited was Bob Marley.

The video I saw was just titled "Music Video" which has made it difficult to search. It had just been uploaded, so the video may be brand new. The song itself was a melange of different musical styles.

  • Any chance you can have a look back through your browser URL history and find the link to the actual video? – user16 Dec 31 '16 at 10:42
  • Unfortunately I was watching through Roku, not in a browser :( It seems as though the Roku YouTube app keeps some kind of history, but it isn't an easy one to navigate or control (basically a seemingly randomized selection out of everything you've ever watched). – Chris Sunami Dec 31 '16 at 16:11
