I guess it's a theme song of some TV series.

  • It may look like the Baywatch theme, but not exactly...

Sounds maybe current affairs / arts type program theme, but a lot of this music is kind of generic. Any clues about context - from when, what country, what type of channel ?

@czerny, maybe you could tell us more about where did you get that sample? Did you hear it on radio, was it in a movie?

Shazam reports it as "Nek Aage AA Shaym To Pe Rang Daaru" by Shradheya Mridul Krishan Goswami Ji.

  • Whole song is available at saavn.com/s/album/hindi/Nek-Aage-Aa-Shyam-to-Pe-Rang-Daaru-2015/…. It's interesting that only first 30 seconds are similar to the sample, the rest (7:44) sounds far more like Indian traditional music. Other songs from the album don't have similar, very differently sounding intros. Moreover the album containing this song was released in 2015 however the sample comes from video uploaded 5 years ago ~ 2012. It feels like the author Shradheya Mridul Krishan Goswami Ji "got inspired" by some already existing song.

  • I admit I know nothing about the artist. The song may have been reused, re-released, or if the artist is a composer of film/television scores, then it's common for them to reuse parts of their past work. It's also possible that that Shazam index is incorrect. Feb 27 '17 at 4:50
