Here's the video URL on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMztE5vJDsI

It's titled "I can't live without you" by Romeo Jones. However, I've looked, quite literally, EVERYWHERE on the internet. Apparently, there's no such thing as Romeo Jones, from the 80s/70s. There are many songs titled "I can't live without you", but I still couldn't find this specific song.

Just to give you a little context, I heard this song on the radio (Tucson, 98.1 FM Tupac). The station, in question, is an independent station that has no ads and plays nostalgic 60s/70s/80s songs 24-7.

  • It looks like a local band playing a local gig [no lights, bad sound, handheld single shot camera, not having to fight the audience to get the shot]. Your best source of info would be the poster of the video. – Tetsujin May 25 '17 at 16:25

The poster of the video you link to is Jim Hicks who was the bass player of Romeo Jones, and as such is probably a leading authority of the band. Hicks is most likely correct that the name is indeed "I Can't Live Without You."

From his YouTube page:

This video was shot by Steve Hill at the 1988 Sonoma County Battle Of The Bands held at Grace Pavillion at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Romeo Jones had only been together for 1 week. I had only been playing the bass for 6 days! Hahaha! A great time was had by all and we advanced to the finals...
