There's this song on the tip of my tongue and it's driving me nuts, because I don't remember where I heard it or all the lyrics.

It's like an argument with a person or maybe with them self, and "you are" or "I am" is repeated often. From what's replaying in my brain, the lines are around 3 or 4 beats. It's also really intense and confrontational, if that helps at all?

I know these are really vague conditions but any help is appreciated.

Could it be Jack White's collaboration with Danger Mouse "Two Against One", about a narrator arguing with both himself and someone else? Sample lyric "I'm already fighting me, so what's another one?"

Hi, @jimP76. Maybe you are not familiar with how Stack Exchange works... Answers should provide all possible information (links, pictures, quotes), answers should do the job and not asking the reader to do it. Regards.

  • It DID do the job. OP asked what a song was, This is unrelated to the video (which may have it's URL removed at any time due to copyright reasons) The song and the band are unlikely to change. Adding a video link (which literally takes seconds to find for yourself) will reduce the longevity of the validity of this answer I OP had asked for a question that involved a video , I would have supplied a link for the video. They didn't. They asked which SONG might be covered by their description. The answer I gave is valid.

@jimP76; I'm just trying to help here. Your answer has been flagged as "Low quality" by the system, and received 3 downvotes, and I wanted to explain why.

Perhaps you could quote the relevant parts of each song that match the querant's memory?
