When I was younger I remember listening to this song over and over about a victim of the Columbine shooting and her faith. Perhaps it wasn't a 90's band as the shooting happened 1999. In the song, underneath the music you can hear the victim reading from her diary about her faith in God/Jesus.

The only lyrics I seem to remember from this particular song are what I think are the opening lines:

"Does this sound good to you? If not I'll change the tune, ( change the tune )"

The name of the band I remember possibly starting with the letter B. Something like Bethesda...but that can't be right. Any info or ideas on this would be great I've been searching for this all day.

Another bit of information I think I remember that the drummer of the band was one of the band members' Mom...possible the lead singer's? I thought the name of the song was something like "The story of everyone"

  • Per wikipedia, the famous songs about Columbine victims are about Cassie Bernall : Michael W. Smith's "This Is Your Time" and FlyLeaf's "Cassie". Neither of these matches the other details you give. Maybe the band were local to where you were living when you heard the song ? – Angst Oct 23 '17 at 9:47
  • Do you remember if the lead singer was male or female? Also have you more details about the genre of the song? – Bebs Jan 12 '18 at 8:05
