I can't remember the name of the song or the artist's name. But he was a singer, songwriter, folk, country, indie...
Some of the lyrics I remember in no particular order are:
"I've done all I can think to do, I've been through everything in view and I'm ready now for something new to feel. The old world rose, rose in from mexico, red sails raised before the dawn, I wonder what's been taking her so long...
I left my love waiting in the village Green while I took the only train to sea, I know that wasn't very dependable of me..."
It's hard to find because I found the song when Myspace was still relevant. Not sure if any of this artists music was on an album or not. Any help is much appreciated... just him and his guitar from what I remember, think there was some harmonica in there as well.
