This is really bugging me! There's a modern-ish sounding classical piece used in snatches throughout the BBC Radio drama Miss Marple's Final Cases and I can't identify it. Maybe Vaughn Williams?

There's a clear bit at the beginning and end of this episode, about 02:16 and 26:46 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06bp2vp

  • The iPlayer link is going to limit your audience to the UK only. Would be better if you can grab a sample of the relevant section & post to somewhere more readily accessible. – Tetsujin Dec 6 '17 at 13:50
  • Sorry - I thought radio iPlayer worked outside the uk - certainly used to. – Bob says reinstate Monica Dec 6 '17 at 13:52
  • I didn't think it did... but can't test as I'm in the UK ;-) – Tetsujin Dec 6 '17 at 13:58
  • Looks like it should be available worldwide, but there are exceptions iplayerhelp.external.bbc.co.uk/radio/radio-outside-uk – Bob says reinstate Monica Dec 6 '17 at 14:01

  • That's it! Thanks. I'm sure I've heard the pizzacato bit at the beginning of that movement sampled somewhere too, maybe on a 90s trance track? – Bob says reinstate Monica Dec 7 '17 at 15:46
