"Finally Mine" by Julia Roberts reminds me of another song with a similar intro and bass line. Unfortunately I just can't place it and it's driving me mad. The tempo and acoustics are very similar. Not a lot to go on, sorry.

This is the standard 50s slow rock bassline --it's probably hundreds of songs. – Chris Sunami supports Monica Jun 17 '19 at 15:56

That 6/8 rhythm with all the arpeggios was standard for slow rock ballads in the late 50s and early 60s, and has reappeared in many retro revival ballads like this one as well. I personally associate it most closely with the 1965 hit "Unchained Melody", but it certainly didn't either originate or end there.

If you're thinking of a more recent hit, it might be Rihanna's "Love on the Brain".

"Chances are" by Bob Marley has a very similar appeggiated bassline and rhythm.
