I think this song is from the '90s. I'm 95% sure it's a cheesy love song. It was probably a hit (in Australia at least). If I could give you any lyrics, I would. It's a falsetto female singer for the chorus, and, if I recall correctly, the whole song.

Chorus goes like this [link]: aaaaaaay ohhh-woh--aaaaaaay ann--I'mmmm--ummming-up--ahh-low-oh-oh-oohhh ahh-a-ahhh

Don't be embarrassed by the humming. That helped tremendously (and you actually did a pretty good job with it... at least for getting the point across :-D ). I'm quite certain that the song you're looking for is Sway by Bic Runga.
