Today I was listening to the retro 1920s classic music radio and suddenly a familiar tune came into my mind. What I can tell is that it closely resembles the bgm of a nes game I played long time ago - Circus Charlie, in level 1. Here is the link to the bgm in vgmrips.net.

Anyone know the title of the original music?

The tune is "American Patrol", a march written by Frank White Meacham in 1885 incorporating both original musical themes by Meacham and melodies from American patriotic songs of the era. Glenn Miller's Orchestra recorded a swing version of the march in 1942 (arranged by Jerry Gray).
