A kinda sad piano song that i think might be from an anime or a game.

I think it starts like this.

A5, A4, E5, D5,C5 A5, A4, E5, D5,C5 A5, B5, C6, B5, G5, F5, G5, A5, E5, G5 B4, A4

If anyone can figure it out, thank you. :)

  • Can you give any clue as to the rhythm? There are online tools where you can enter actual notes, that would be much easier to read. Also, any detail you can provide about where and when you heard this would help. – Chris Sunami supports Monica Aug 14 '19 at 19:45

  • When it comes to where and when, i assume within the last year or two while browsing on youtube or so? Im sorry for being so infuriatingly and rage-inducingly vague, but that is about the extent i can remember it to. Also, like i mentioned, i believe its either from an anime or a videogame. – Frustrated Aug 14 '19 at 20:46
  • And the rhythm, its pretty much just pressing each of those keys on the keyboard one after another with maybe a slight pause in between the last G5 note and the B4 note. Thats how i remembered the song. – Frustrated Aug 14 '19 at 20:50
  • Again, terribly sorry about this. – Frustrated Aug 14 '19 at 20:50

I found it again! Yes! Its a piece of music from one of the best visual novels i've ever played called Katawa Shoujo.

Its called "Painful History" and its one of the themes of a charcter called Hanako. I wholeheartedly recommend this masterpiece. Try it out, you won't regret it.

P.S. Be prepared to cry, a lot.

This is a long shot, but could it be Goodbye to Winter? It's a student's practice piece from the first volume of the Suzuki Piano method.

It's a nostalgic solo piano song, as per the question. The notes aren't a real match, outside of the (E-D-C riff) but it has the same contour and feel --depending if the rhythm is a match or not.

  • Thats a nice piano song, however it doesn't seem that familiar to me.When it comes to the notes not matching, yeah, thats my bad too. I dont know notes as i dont play the piano. Its just my recollection that its on it. I just "converted" the theme to notes from memory. – Frustrated Aug 15 '19 at 13:47
