I'm looking for an album my dad once had when he was a teenager but he lost. I like to get a similar one for him as a present but we don't remember which it is.

Details:

  • on the cover is a car (a pink one)
  • the cover could open like a book but only had one LP in it
  • one song on it was "See You Later, Alligator" but we are not sure who sung it, could be Dr. Feelgood or Bobby Haley.
  • my dad is born in 1968 in the Netherlands (so he was a teenager in the 1980s)
  • Does a famous musician called Bobby Haley even exist? – Bebs Nov 25 '19 at 7:29
  • IIRC Bill Haley (and the Comets) did a version of "See You Later Alligator" – Duston Nov 25 '19 at 14:58

Pink cars seem to be favourite motive for the covers of compilations of Rock & Roll hits. "See You Later, Alligator" by Bill Haley and the Comets is on these albums (among probably many others). enter image description here enter image description hereenter image description here enter image description here
